In June, I asked my network about AppLovin Axon credits for two ecommerce customers preparing to test the channel.
That request reflected a practical concern: reducing the cost of an initial experiment can make it easier to get started. It did not confirm that a credits program was available or that either customer qualified.
Separate the offer from the test plan
If credits are offered, get the terms directly from the provider. Confirm eligibility, expiration, required spend and any restrictions before building the budget around them.
Treat those details as part of the commercial agreement. A historical social post asking for credits is not evidence of a current promotion.
Define what you want to learn
A useful first test needs a clear objective. Decide which customer acquisition question you are trying to answer and which measure will support the decision.
Prepare the product story and the creative directions before launch. The team should know what each ad is testing and how it will judge the result.
Plan for the period after the credits
Promotional support may reduce the initial cash outlay, but a brand still needs to understand the economics of continuing without it.
Keep promotional value visible in the reporting so the team can distinguish the cost of the experiment from the ongoing cost of advertising.
Confirm the current launch path
Brands exploring AppLovin should confirm current account requirements and onboarding options through the platform or their operating partner.
The next step is a well-defined test with approved creative, working measurement and a budget the team understands. Any available credits can support that plan.
