A product page already contains much of the material needed for an interactive ad: images, options, price and the explanation of why the product matters.
Upscale’s PDP-to-playable project starts with that material and turns it into concepts a shopper can interact with before visiting the store.
Start with the product
In the August announcement, the workflow began by pasting a Shopify product page. The builder used the page’s product imagery, colorways, price and copy to prepare an interactive direction.
This keeps the concept connected to a real product. The viewer should recognize the item, promise and offer again after clicking through to the website.
Select the mechanic that fits
The launch post described options including a colorway studio, spin-to-reveal and a feature tour.
Choose based on what the shopper needs to understand. A color selector can make a product range tangible. A feature tour can explain a useful detail. A reveal mechanic should still communicate something meaningful about the product.
The objective is a clear, short interaction with an obvious next step.
Inspect the generated result
The announced workflow included technical checks and scoring before download. Those checks support review, but the brand should still verify the complete experience.
Inspect product accuracy, instructions and CTA behavior. Check the output on a phone and confirm the current network requirements for packaging, size and external resources.
Technical specifications can change. The limits mentioned in an older launch post should not be treated as a substitute for current upload documentation.
Keep the code useful
The original project emphasized giving brands access to the generated code. That lets a team inspect the experience and use Claude or Codex to customize it.
Make one change at a time, test the result and retain the working version. A clear product interaction is easier to improve than a complicated experience with many competing steps.
The project followed work on a custom playable for Latico Leathers. The announcement described encouraging results but did not provide a quantified lift. Each brand should evaluate its own test.
